About Singhania University

Singhania University is one of the well known universities in India, located in Pacheri district of Jhunjunu, Rajasthan which is located on the Delhi – Pilani road. The University is fully recognized in accordance with section 2f of the UGC act of the year 1956.Singhania University is among the best premier Institutions of India which provides education ranging from graduation level to doctorate level. The university has a sprawling campus spread across 30 acres of land and it is located far away from the clamor of the metropolis. The best way to reach the university campus is by rail .The university is located 165 km to the north of Jaipur and 160 km to the west of Delhi . The nearest railway station is Narnaul which is situated 19kms away from the campus.

Singhania Institute was founded by Shri. D.C. Singhania who established this prestigious institute with the help, support and constant inspiration provided by his mother Smt. Narmada Devi Singhania. The institute was inaugurated by the same great philanthropist and visionary Shri D.C. Singhania on the date 29th June 2003.The main objective of the Institute is to provide world class education which reflects the latest developments in the educational and research field with high tech administrative and academic infrastructure. The institute provides a lot of facilities to inculcate a healthy educational environment .It has a very well furnished and up to date resource centre cum library; advanced , well equipped and maintained labs ; many different indoor and outdoor sports and games for the students recreation ,large and well furnished separate girls and boys hostel , lush green lawns , wide open spaces , well kept orchards and colorful flowerbeds in sylvan surroundings . Residential quarters for the faculty members are also present inside the university campus.

The education provided in Singhania University can be divided into mainly four parts – Biotechnology, Engineering, Allied Health Sciences and Management. The faculties for different course of studies are separate and they consist of highly qualified, trained and experienced professors who are experts in their area of study. The Institute centers on complete growth of its students, it works on their all round development by acknowledging their cultural, academic, social and physical needs in an atmosphere of constant growth and interaction, necessary for the enrichment of a person’s body and mind .
